Thomas E. Miller

Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Miller serves as the Chief Investment Officer of the Adviser, a position he has held since inception of the Adviser. Previously, Mr. Miller was Head of Manager Research at Nationwide Investment Management Group where he was responsible for the oversight and implementation of the Quantitative Research, Qualitative Review, Risk Analysis, and Monitoring process for the Nationwide Funds, a $60 billion mutual fund family. Mr. Miller’s responsibilities included the selection, monitoring, and de-selection of the investment managers utilized across multiple platforms. Prior to leading the Manager Strategies team, Mr. Miller was an Associate Vice President, Product Management & Research at Nationwide Investment Management Group. In that role, he was responsible for the day to day management of the Product Management team, which oversees over 100 investment products that support Nationwide Financial’s retirement, annuity, life insurance and retail mutual fund businesses. Prior to joining Nationwide, Mr. Miller was a financial analyst at The Vanguard Group Inc. and a product manager at Delaware Investments. Mr. Miller holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from the Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from West Chester University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation (CFA).

 

Craig R. Snyder CIMA®, CPWA®

Mr. Snyder serves as the Head of Distribution for USQ. Previously, Mr. Snyder was National Director of Intermediary Distribution at Penn Capital Management. In addition to his experience at Penn Capital, over the last 18 years, Mr. Snyder has also been involved in distribution efforts at William Blair, Lazard and Nuveen.  Mr. Snyder’s distribution experience has been in consulting relations, RIA and wirehouse distribution. He has been a speaker at National Wirehouse Conferences as well as the Institute of Investment and Wealth conferences. Mr Snyder has a BS in Public Service from Penn State University. Additionally, he has obtained the CIMA® and CPWA® designations from the Investments and Wealth Institute.

S. Timothy Grugeon

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Grugeon serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Adviser, a position he has held since inception of the Adviser. Mr. Grugeon has over forty years of experience in various aspects of the investment management industry including developing and managing investment products, marketing, distribution, trading, relationship management, and overseeing operations. Previously, Mr. Grugeon served as Chief Operating Officer at Nationwide Investment Management Group where he was responsible for the oversight of all management aspects of the Nationwide Funds, a $60 billion mutual fund family. Prior to his fifteen year employment at Nationwide, Mr. Grugeon served as Chief Executive Officer at two other financial services firms, Aris Corporation of America, and Chesapeake Financial Group.

Matthew P. Henry

Managing Director, Global Head of Real Estate Sector at Chatham Financial

Managing Principal and Chairman of the Board of Union Square Capital Partners, LLC

Mr. Henry is a Managing Director and member of Chatham’s Operating Committee. He leads the Real Estate business specializing in debt and derivative solutions for REITs, investors, owners and developers. Mr. Henry joined Chatham in 2004 as one of the founders of the investment banking advisory business, and since then has worked on capital raising and restructuring assignments totaling over $20 billion. Mr. Henry’s capital raising experience includes equity, preferred equity, mezzanine debt, first mortgage construction and permanent debt, lines of credit, and DIP loans. He has represented clients in the acquisition of distressed real estate securities, in lender workouts, as a financial advisor in Chapter 11, and as an expert witness. Mr. Henry holds a BA in Business and Economics from Wheaton College, and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business
